Herbal Academy Courses are developed by our course development team, which is headed up by herbalists with advanced level training and clinical experience. Our course development team often works with multiple contributors, whom you can get to know here: https://theherbalacademy.com/team/ These contributors have backgrounds in herbalism and we have worked with a couple of medical doctors on anatomy and physiology lessons (and our experienced clinical herbalists have also developed those for us, as that is an important part of their training as well).
Course materials are developed with high standards; we expect content to be thoroughly referenced using reputable sources - primary sources and reputable secondary sources. We integrate information gleaned from historical sources on the traditional use of herbs, modern herbalists' practical experience with herbs, and modern scientific studies - these are the three legs of the stool of information that when woven together, provide a broad look from multiple perspectives. We have multiple editors who review course content.
